Connor Mackinson

Raised in a small town by two loving parents, Connor had an idylic childhood. Most afternoons he could be found playing sports in the neighborhood. His older sister, Lizzy, got him into swimming and diving and he became fairly good at both. However, his scholarship to Stanford was not an athletic one. Both he Victor had full rides based on their academics. The two friends both got the programming spark at an early age. Like many young boys, they dreamed of making video games, although they only made simple games for the two of them to play together.

Connor's interests in both diving and programming led his path to cross Marisa's upon his arrival at Stanford. Prior to college, Connor had never had a girlfriend. While pursuing Marisa, he fumbled his way through learning the ins and outs of relationships. He occasionally attempted to cover his insecurities with false courage, usually to Marisa's amusement. For her part, she suffered from no such lack of confidence.

In The Cendovian, Connor proved to be a loyal friend, working hard to support his best friend Victor through his struggles at Stanford. All the while, Connor was unaware of a danger that approached him. When terror struck, his first concern was for those around him, especially Marisa. He became obsessed with protecting her, and she worried that his obssession bordered on madness.
