Lucas was the first gamer to compete against Richard's computer science students as a Godslayer, a gamer brought in to battle programmers' CombatRidge bots to test their code. The son of a nuerosurgeon father and a state senator mother, Lucas hailed from priveledge. A fashion model in high school and captain of the college water polo team, he was accustomed to girls fawning over him. Marisa explained to Victor and Connor that Lucas had a reputation for being a narcassictic, womanizer.
Victor immediately took a deep disliking to Lucas, and several times in The Cendovian the two men confronted each other, with Tina getting caught in between. In his CombatRidge battles, Lucas's Herculanix frequently dispatched opponents with ease, both gamers and programmers alike. In the final CombatRidge match, Lucas's Alpha Dogs fought against Victor's Leopards in what had become a bitter rivalry.
